Rwanda - Power Plants

Rwanda's electricity generation is composed by domestic generation and the imported generation from neighbor countries and regional shared Company. The source of energy used is from the following sources: hydropower plants, thermal power plants (Diesel, Heavy fuel generators and methane gas) and solar energy. In order to solve the problem of power deficit known recently, the government rented thermal power plants as provisional solution. From Rwanda Energy Group.
